To be fair, the fourth option really does pop up all the time, always showing up right in front of you to remind you it exists.

You suddenly grow curious about the personality setting of the Celestial Dragons in the game. They are supposed to be the "Descendants of the Gods," an elite aristocratic class with a lofty status—but somehow, the related options all seem so disappointing.

You wonder if choosing that option might get you beaten up.

Putting jokes aside, you certainly won’t bring trouble upon yourself and answer truthfully: “This is the Dasteldo Kingdom, Doctor Town.”

“Is that so? This isn’t the Wano Country,” replies a woman named Amatsuki, reacting noticeably to your answer as she sighs in disappointment.

Wano Country?

Honestly, this place feels somewhat familiar; you probably saw it during the game’s opening because it sounds like a small, isolated nation you passed on immediately at first.

“If this isn’t Wano, we need to find a ship first,” you say.

Amatsuki doesn’t bother with you; she sits alone on a nearby reef, resting her cheek on her hand as she stares at the moon, troubled.

“But how am I supposed to get a ship to Wano...?”

Option 1: I can help you, but I’ll need a reward. (Trigger quest)

Option 2: Leave.

A spontaneous side quest appears!

You haven’t found any razor clams on the beach yet, and opportunities to level up are scarce. You definitely won’t miss a side quest and waste a whole night: “I can help you, but I’ll need a reward.”

“Eh? Little sister, are you really willing to help me?”

Amatsuki quickly stands from the reef, her face lighting up: “I don’t have the currency you use now, but I promise to do one thing for you—anything within my ability!”

[Side Quest Triggered: Help Amatsuki solve her problem. Quest details: Amatsuki, from a mysterious time-space, wants to take a ship to Wano Country but has no ship or money. Go to the harbor and ask if any boatmen are willing to give her a ride.]

Simple!

Without hesitation, you accept the quest, your eyes caught by the phrase "from a mysterious time-space."

To be honest, you initially thought her sudden appearance was a bug since such things have happened before and you’ve almost gotten used to it...

But this seems different—she really is from a mysterious time-space, suddenly appearing here!

Is she a Devil Fruit user?

Or just a small Easter egg set by the game? You were a veteran gamer before crossing over; many RPGs love these quirky hidden side quests.

Hmm, if she’s a Devil Fruit user, you could try to get her blood...

If not, you don’t know what to ask for; you can’t just say, “You’re pretty, don’t marry a jerk—marry me instead.”

The harbor is just a few dozen meters away, not far from here. Near the wooden pier, many ships are docked, including the one you came on, but there aren’t many NPCs around—it’s nowhere near as lively as during the day.

You casually approach a boatman leaning against a lamp post, resting.

“Hello.”

“...”

“Hello?”

“…zZZZZZ…”

No response, next.

You turn around and try several others until an old man sitting on a boat weaving fishing nets finally looks up and responds to your intrusion.

“At this hour at the dock? Little girl, it’s dangerous at night.”

Option 1: I have something to ask you...

Option 2: How long have you been at sea?

Option 3: Leave.

“I have something to ask you.”

Without wasting time, you skip the second option and say, “I want you to take my friend to Wano Country.”

“Wano Country?”

“No way! I heard that’s a closed-off nation; even Navy ships can’t get in.”

The old boatman frowns in disapproval. You expect him to refuse, ready to move on, but then he changes tone: “But if it’s Apple Country, I can give you a ride—it’s on my way.”

“Apple Country?”

“Yeah, that’s my next stop for supplies. Apple Country is east of the Dressrosa Kingdom. I’ve heard that beyond it to the east lies Wano Country.”

Great! You’re thrilled and about to tell Amatsuki when the old man pauses to catch his breath and says reluctantly:

Page (2/3)

“Ah, my anchor rope has worn out from being soaked in seawater for so long. I won’t be able to sail anytime soon.”

“Little girl, if you can get me a hemp rope, I’ll agree to it.”

Option 1: Okay, leave it to me. (Accept quest)

Option 2: Forget it, I’ll think about it.

...

So it’s a chain quest.

You accept quickly. Conveniently, you happen to have two hemp ropes in your backpack—you didn’t sell them to the general store owner before. You pull one out and hand it over.

“Oh! This is exactly the hemp rope I need!”

The boatman takes it excitedly. “Bring your friend here; we can set sail tomorrow morning.”

“By the way, I have some spare things; I’ll give them to you too.”

[System: Player completed side quest “Help the boatman find hemp rope”! Gained 100 XP, Unidentified Captain’s Badge ×1, Common Lobster ×3, Snake Oil (use to increase Charm +1, HP +10).]

Nice!

You accept the reward and inspect the metal badge briefly. It looks rusty and insignificant—a mere replica.

...A lame piece of junk, but you keep it.

You return to Amatsuki, who is still sitting not far away, gazing 45 degrees upward. Her beautiful light green hair sways slightly in the moonlight—so far, the only beautiful character you’ve seen.

Option 1: I found a boat willing to take you! (Submit quest)

Option 2: Leave.

“I found a boat willing to take you.”

“Really?”

Amatsuki jumps up happily from the reef. “Little sister, thank you so much!”

“But the boatman can only sail to Apple Country...”

You say hesitantly, “Wano is east of Apple, and he won’t go further.”

“That’s fine; as long as there’s hope, I’ll find a way to continue on my own!”

Amatsuki doesn’t complain about not going directly to Wano; she willingly joins your party.

You bring her to the boatman and complete the side quest, gaining 780 XP and Amatsuki’s Promise ×1.

[System: Use Amatsuki’s Promise now? (Note: If the character dies, the promise disappears)]

Option 1: Yes

Option 2: No

No way. Of course you want to ask first if she’s a Devil Fruit user. If not, you won’t waste this precious chance.

“Do you have a Devil Fruit ability?”

“Eh!? You found out?”

Though you only asked on a whim, Amatsuki’s face shows surprise with a question mark above her head.

“Since it’s you, little sister, I don’t mind telling you.”

“I’m from over 800 years ago and can travel to the future. Going to Wano is my wish. I’ve been on this long journey to achieve it.”

So that’s it.

But it doesn’t concern you much. Satisfied, you decide to use her promise—

“I want your blood.”

“My blood? I suppose that’s possible...”

Amatsuki hesitates but doesn’t refuse. She cuts her finger with the dagger at her waist, and you summon a card, absorbing her blood. Your skill panel updates.

Skill 3: Paramecia-Type: Time Fruit.

Description: Can send oneself or others to any point in the future. No limit on time span but cannot travel to the past.

Remaining uses: 3.

[System notice: Ability successfully copied. Cards remaining (3/13).]

Wow.

This skill is perfect for skipping!

Page (3/3)

Could it be the game wants you to skip three years using the Time Fruit ability?

No way... Such a powerful skill is clearly SSR-level. Who would waste it on fixed storylines? Besides, the prologue demo only has about 20 days left. The future is uncertain; you’d be foolish to waste uses now.

After donating her blood, Amatsuki puts away her dagger. No new story triggers with her or the boatman. When you talk to them, the green-haired beauty murmurs nervously:

“Will this journey be what I hope for...?”

Good luck to her.

You silently return to the beach, resuming your quest for razor clams. No luck there, but you find many clams hidden in the mud.

[System: Player killed a clam! Gained 8 XP, Clam ×1.]

These are easier to kill than crabs. One hit of Conqueror’s Haki killed it outright—no dagger needed for the finishing blow. Too bad the XP is much less.

It’ll have to do.

In full grind mode, you use Level 2 Conqueror’s Haki to glare at clams repeatedly, reaching (182/200) before running out of 320 stamina and collapsing.

...

Wait, you suddenly remember you’re not on the ship.

If you faint outside and get exposed to the sun, it might reduce your charm.

Oh no... Don’t want that! Help, you can’t move at all!!

[System: After a night’s rest, your stamina has recovered!]

A cheerful notification sounds in your ears. Slowly regaining consciousness, you open your eyes and sit up sharply.

However, the expected notification doesn’t appear.

Beneath you is a comfortable, clean bed. The air smells of old wooden furniture. Without a doubt—

You find yourself in that small inn not far from the dock.

Marco is standing by your bedside. Not only is it the cheap old brother, Edward Newgate is also in your room, sitting silently nearby with arms crossed. His massive frame looms like a majestic rock formation.

W-what’s going on?

Could it be that a new day triggered a main storyline? Maybe their comrades have arrived, forcing you back inside.

Noticing a speech bubble with […], you quickly poke it.

Option 1: Good morning, brother.

Option 2: Why are you in my room?

Option 3: Leave.

“Good morning, brother.”

“Morning, little sister. But it’s already noon.”

Marco waves kindly at your greeting.

You continue in order: “Why are you in my room?”

“Ah... because you missed breakfast at the inn. Father and I brought it to you.”

[System: Received common wheat bread ×1, cup of milk ×1 (each restores 1 stamina).]

So that’s it.

They’re pretty nice... Though the breakfast is average, and the bread is just useless junk.

You accept the food Marco hands over and stuff it directly into your backpack in front of him.

Naturally, he doesn’t comment on your behavior. He steps forward calmly, a new dialogue box appearing above him.

“Sis, what’s your plan for today?”

Option 1: Visit Dr. Rodney.

Option 2: Go to the market.

Option 3: Go to the harbor.

Option 4: Go to the palace in the island’s center.

Option 5: Do nothing and stay at the inn.
