Chapter Eleven: Anyone Trying to Seize the Meteor, Get Out
The chat window was instantly flooded, welcome messages and chat comments flickering like a storm. Huang Yunshuo, who had never experienced such a wild atmosphere in his own streaming room before, found his eyes dazzled on the spot.
But this was clearly not the moment to back down; he had to see his reckless act through to the end.
“You beggars scrambling for gifts, get out, get lost!”
Huang Yunshuo started cursing at the viewers who’d come for the gifts.
Fool: “……”
Cucumber With a Fishy Smell and others: “……”
Damn, is this idiotic streamer at it again?
So everyone who enters his stream gets a tongue-lashing? He doesn’t even spare those just coming to claim gifts?
If this isn’t idiocy, what is?
All streamers love rockets, yachts, and similar gifts because they can be broadcast across the region or the platform, attracting more viewers. Such rare exposure is the most precious self-promotion opportunity for any streamer; if handled well, it can bring a new batch of fans.
Yet this guy not only fails to treat people nicely, he curses them?
A Pure Little Lamb: “???”
Silent ***: “???”
Chest-Smashed Giant Snake: “???”
“Get out, a bunch of idiots, question mark dogs, can’t even type, get lost!”
Huang Yunshuo cursed with his eyes closed, then opened them to kick people out. Anyone who posted a question mark was booted out.
“Damn, you’re wild!”
The audience was frightened; they must have run into a lunatic.
Came to claim gifts, got cursed as poor dogs and told to leave. Sent a question mark out of confusion, got cursed and then kicked?
Insane—this is a madman.
“Damn you, dog streamer, I’m reporting you, you idiot!”
Some viewers couldn’t take the insult and cursed back, only to be kicked out by Huang Yunshuo in a flash.
“If you’re here for gifts, get out! Have some dignity. If you’ve got guts, spend your own money!”
Huang Yunshuo boasted.
Many viewers were furious, cursing him with barrage-like comments.
Huang Yunshuo couldn’t possibly kick out all the gift-grabbers, so inspiration struck—he began kicking out only those with high levels.
In the Starry Sky Live level chart, IDs from levels 1-20 are green, 21-40 blue, 41-60 purple. The higher the level, the more prestigious and eye-catching the ID color. Even among countless comments, high-level viewers’ messages are instantly noticed and often read aloud by streamers—the benefit of a high level.
And so, something that made the viewers’ hair stand on end happened.
Anyone above level 20 was kicked out by Huang Yunshuo. After finishing with level 20s, he continued, booting out those in the teen levels one by one.
“I ***!”
Cucumber With a Fishy Smell was level 12; he feared he’d soon be kicked and started swearing out of anxiety. He just couldn’t understand why he’d bother following such an idiotic streamer.
Leaving the room is one thing, but being kicked out?
That feeling—only those who’ve experienced it know how it stings. Some with strong nerves brushed it off, but those less resilient could be depressed for ten days or half a month.
“Kick me, dog streamer?” A level 1 ID taunted.
“Trash, you think I’d bother kicking a level 1? Get out yourself!”
Huang Yunshuo cursed, and the audience unleashed a torrent of insults, but he remained unafraid.
What a joke. He’d faced off against Kong Sang’s battleships, piloted mechs and shot down Ming Jialuo models—his nerves were rock solid. You think your barrage of comments could scare him?
Daddy suddenly jumped in, arrogantly cursing, “Dog streamer, surprised? I’m back! You think kicking me out lets you do as you please? I bought a Kick Immunity Card, you can’t kick me!”
“So that’s why he sent the yacht gift.”
Fool and the others were stunned; now it made sense why Daddy acted like an idiot, rushing in and sending a yacht.
Still, spending over a thousand credits just to come back and curse someone—such behavior can hardly be considered anything but idiocy.
“You seem pretty pleased with yourself?”
Huang Yunshuo glanced at Daddy. So what if you sent him a yacht? He still didn’t like your name.
It’s tough to level up after 29. Even after gifting 13,140 Starry Sky coins’ worth, Daddy hadn’t reached level 30.
“So what? If you’ve got the guts, try kicking me again, you bastard!”
Daddy gloated, having spent his money and now ready to enjoy the perks.
He hadn’t spoken up earlier because he was carefully reading the Kick Immunity definition. Once he confirmed that neither room managers, streamers, nor even the Starry Sky platform’s super admins could kick him out, Daddy felt utterly comfortable.
Huang Yunshuo clicked on Daddy’s name, ignored the idiotic avatar, skipped the greyed-out kick option, and paused over the mute button.
“Idiot, you clearly don’t understand what real power is!”
Huang Yunshuo grinned and selected a three-hour mute.
He couldn’t mute the guy for too long; ten days or half a month would mean this foolish viewer might never return, and that would be a loss.
These are all potential fat sheep, after all—a three-hour mute matches the length of a single game session for Hurricane Helmet users, so Daddy could come back next break.
“You have been muted by the streamer ‘Idiot’ for three hours. Countdown: 2:59:59.”
Staring at the prompt, Daddy’s lips twitched. He clutched his chest and crouched down, nearly coughing up blood.
Damn, so what if he bought Kick Immunity—the streamer still had the devastating mute package.
“Damn it…”
He gritted his teeth and searched for how to avoid being muted, then was floored.
Only by activating Duke Noble status could he avoid being muted by room managers in any room, but he could still be muted by the streamer.
To avoid even the streamer’s mute, he’d have to activate Lord Noble!
Here are the Starry Sky Live noble activation costs:
Knight: First activation costs 1,000 credits, or 10,000 Starry Sky coins—the platform returns 5,000 coins; the remaining 5,000 are split between the platform and the streamer. Monthly renewal is 10,000 coins, which can all be used for gifts.
Baron: First activation costs 10,000 credits, or 100,000 coins.
Viscount: 30,000 credits, 300,000 coins.
Count: 100,000 credits, 1,000,000 coins.
Marquis: 300,000 credits, 3,000,000 coins.
Duke: 1,000,000 credits, 10,000,000 coins.
King: 3,000,000 credits, 30,000,000 coins.
Emperor: 10,000,000 credits, 100,000,000 coins.
Lord: 30,000,000 credits, 300,000,000 coins!
Above Lord are Divine Emperor and Celestial Emperor, requiring 100,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 credits respectively. Half the coins are kept in the account for gifting, the other half split between streamer and platform.
And every month, you must renew at the same initial amount to maintain noble status!
Daddy would need to deposit 1,000,000 credits to become a Duke and avoid being muted by room managers.
“If I had 1,000,000 credits, would I still be stuck at level 29? I’d have hit level 40 ages ago.”
Daddy sighed, dispirited. Even if he could afford it, what good would it do?
That idiot could still mute him, because he’s the streamer!
To avoid even the streamer’s mute, he’d have to activate a Lord Noble—more prestigious than even Emperor!
30,000,000 credits!
Damn, with that kind of money, he’d just hire an assassin to finish off the idiot, not buy noble status—what the hell for!
