Yun Fu was quite surprised. She looked up at the woman standing beside her, the corners of her lips curling slightly, before she raised her hand to pull her hat back down over her head.

The next second, she stepped forward languidly, walking up to Professor Si. Her voice was clear and cold, accompanied by a scoff.

"Your medical skills are terrible."

"!!!"

It was incredibly arrogant. No one had expected her to evaluate a doctor serving in the Medical Association in such a way.

Si Li frowned, the look in his eyes becoming even more chilling. He stared at the imposing young woman before him and gritted his teeth. "Miss Yun, I hope you are prepared to take responsibility for your words!"

The dean stepped forward, glaring viciously at Yun Fu. "Miss Yun, please stop spouting nonsense! Professor Si is a specially appointed professor at our hospital; his medical expertise is witnessed by all. As a celebrity who doesn't even have a medical license, what right do you have to judge an old man who has spent his entire life studying medicine?"

Yun Fu lowered her eyes, her long lashes casting a shadow. After a moment, her voice rang out, laced with a hint of hostility. "I think a hospital dean who declares a living patient dead has even less right to speak to me."

"You!"

Before the dean could retort, Si Li swept an icy, gloomy gaze over Yun Fu.

Yun Fu walked back to the patient and gently nudged the hospital bed, saying to the medical staff nearby, "Take the patient back to the ward first."

Then, she looked at Si Li.

"As for you, Miss Yun, I originally intended to overlook your actions, seeing as you were the one who discovered that Mr. Zhu was not dead. But now, it seems you are determined to force my hand."

His gaze turned even more sinister, like a creature lurking in the damp shadows, watching Yun Fu as if she were prey. He expected her to be afraid, to shrink away. Instead, he met a pair of cold, piercing eyes.

They were beautiful, yet incredibly calm. There was even a hint of dangerous murderous intent in them—or at least, to his knowledge, such a gaze could only belong to someone who had truly seen blood.

His heart skipped a beat, though he immediately dismissed the thought. How could that be possible? She was just a female celebrity; she would probably faint at the sight of blood.

"You used needles on the patient. As far as I know, acupuncture has all but vanished in China. At your age, unless you come from a family that has passed down the craft for generations, there is no way you could possibly know acupuncture."

Meanwhile, having learned of the incident and noticing that Yun Fu had been gone for a long time, Xie Chengyuan hurried out to find her. As soon as he arrived, he saw Yun Fu surrounded by the crowd and heard that very statement.

Subconsciously, he took a step back, hiding himself from view. He kept his head low, his bangs slightly obscuring his youthful face.

Xie Chengyuan recalled the news he had seen about Yun Fu online recently; he had even doubted that this person was the sister he had grown up with. But they had been strangers for two or three years; it was hard to imagine what she could have gone through after leaving them to learn so many things.

Upon hearing the old man's words, his first reaction was that he could not step out; he could not cause her any more trouble.

Yun Fu glanced toward that corner and raised an eyebrow.

At the mention of acupuncture, the crowd, who had been watching the spectacle, erupted in renewed astonishment. This medical method, which had once existed and could be called a miracle, had effectively disappeared by the present day. Those legendary divine doctors who could bring the dead back to life with a single needle were merely myths. As for Yun Fu, they were even less inclined to believe she possessed such abilities.

"Yun Fu comes from an ordinary family, right? How could she be from a medical dynasty?"

"Those families have likely long since gone into hiding. Why would they let their kin be a celebrity? I'm telling you, she's just doing this for publicity."

"Why bother saying so much to her? Just examine the patient. If she caused any harm, make her pay for it."

Listening to the murmurs around her, Yun Fu remained leaning against the wall, watching their faces with a cold sneer in her heart.

The dean and Si Li, however, smirked triumphantly.

"Shut up, all of you!" It was the voice of a young girl. She had been standing behind the patient’s wife, and now her face was filled with deep indignation. "What right do you have to say that about Miss Yun? My uncle was saved by Miss Yun! This old man only came over to say a few words; he did nothing to treat my uncle. Besides, our family hasn't even mentioned compensation, so when did it become your place to yap on about it?"

Yun Fu raised an eyebrow in surprise again, looking deeply at the girl who had stepped forward. A faint smile appeared at the corners of her lips.

"Miss Yun, don't listen to them. They just want to shirk responsibility. We won't let them get away with this. We are definitely going to sue their hospital!"

The dean’s face changed drastically. He signaled with his eyes, and a doctor behind him took a step back.

Yun Fu caught the movement. She pushed through the crowd, walked quickly behind that doctor, grabbed him by the collar, and tossed him aside with force.

"Bang!"

Before anyone could react, the doctor was already sprawling on the ground in a pathetic heap.

Yun Fu walked over slowly, raised her foot, and stepped onto his back. She looked at the dean, her expression indifferent. "What? Trying to go and kill the patient, then shift the blame onto me?"

The dean, his intentions exposed, was stunned and froze in place.

Just as he was about to say something, he saw Yun Fu lift her foot and nudge the gasping doctor, then look at her own shoe with an expression of disgust.

"..."

She walked over, her presence overwhelming. Finally, she stopped in front of Professor Si. "Call Chen Zhao."

Chen Zhao was the well-known Saint of Medicine and the President of the Medical Association. A while ago, he had suddenly issued a statement saying he had met someone more suitable for the position of president than himself, but that person was not interested, so he would continue to serve as the interim president. Since no one had seen the person, and the president hadn't changed, no one had paid much attention to it.

Staring into those eyes, Si Li obeyed her command instinctively. He pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed Chen Zhao’s number.

Fine, let them be disappointed. It would prove that this Yun Fu was the one causing harm.

After a moment, an aged yet powerful voice came through the line: "Si Li? What is it?"

Although they were both in the Medical Association, there was a vast chasm between a common professor and the president. He only had Chen Zhao’s number because of his age and seniority.

"President, I have a matter to consult with you." His tone was incredibly respectful.

The people around them, hearing it was Chen Zhao, held their breath. The man on the other end of the line was a true master who could save lives.

"Go ahead."

Yun Fu slowly raised her head, reached up to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, and spoke before Si Li could say a word: "Chen Zhao, it's me."
