Chapter 107: Ruthless Humiliation!
"You're forcing my hand!" Chen Feng stared at Liu Kaifeng, a cold glint shining in his pupils. The two bodyguards were big, burly men, exuding a terrifying pressure—retired special forces soldiers with fearsome combat ability.
Seeing his bodyguards standing at his side, Liu Kaifeng regained his nerve. He looked at Chen Feng and barked loudly, "Kid, let me tell you something—yeah, that's right, there really is something in this glass of wine. And Xiao Yu, you can drop the pure-and-chaste act. I never would've guessed you had a taste for keeping pretty boys on the side. But honestly, what's wrong with being with me? I guarantee my big cock is a hell of a lot more useful than this kid's silver spear with a wax tip!"
"What did you say?" Xiao Yu shot to her feet, her beautiful eyes blazing with fury.
"I said you're nothing but a whore, so why put up a chastity arch?" Liu Kaifeng sneered. "Let me tell you, our Liu Group signed that contract with you because we were doing you a favor. And me slipping you a little something? That's your damn honor..."
*Smack!*
The sound had barely left his lips when it was cut off abruptly. A resounding slap landed hard across Liu Kaifeng's face. The terrifying force sent him flying sideways; his body whipped through the air, then *thud*—his head slammed viciously into the wall.
Liu Kaifeng's head buzzed, his ears ringing like gongs and drums, his vision spinning in chaos. When he managed to gather his wits, he tasted something sweet in his mouth, and spat out a mouthful of blood mixed with several snow-white teeth.
"Master Liu! Master Liu!" Wang Zuo rushed over the moment he saw Liu Kaifeng sent flying by Chen Feng, shaking his body frantically.
A good three or four seconds passed before Liu Kaifeng came back to his senses. He'd been slapped in the face—with a loud, brutal slap at that. He was furious, utterly furious. Struggling to his feet, he roared at the two bodyguards, "You two useless pieces of shit, what are you standing there gawking for? Take this bastard out. Right now!"
His voice was garbled. Several teeth had been smashed loose by that single slap, so air whistled through the gaps in his mouth as he spoke. After the outburst, he clutched his face in pain, blood streaming down over his lips. He looked utterly ridiculous and comical.
But his meaning came through clearly enough. Both bodyguards fixed their gazes on Chen Feng at the same time—yet identical expressions of wariness appeared on their faces. They didn't dare strike rashly. This Chen Feng in front of them was not a man to be taken lightly.
As the saying goes: the moment a master moves, you know whether he's got skills.
Chen Feng's motion in that instant had been too fast, too terrifying. They hadn't even had time to react. Now, even fighting two against one, caution filled their hearts.
*Whoosh!*
The two bodyguards suddenly moved. They were extremely quick, one lunging from the left, one from the right, appearing beside Chen Feng in the blink of an eye.
*Whoosh! Whoosh!*
They threw punches at the same time—simple, direct strikes aimed straight for Chen Feng's temples. Having come out of special forces, they never struck unless they meant to, but once they did, they went for crippling damage. Now they were absolutely certain that Chen Feng was a terrifying adversary, so this opening attack was a fight for their lives.
In that instant, Chen Feng seemed to be trapped in a vicious storm, no room to dodge, no room to evade. Yet Chen Feng himself stood motionless, as if struck dumb with fear.
*Hmph!*
A contemptuous snort escaped Chen Feng's nose. Just as the bodyguards' fists were about to reach him, he moved. His hands opened suddenly, and his own fists blasted outward with an inconceivably fast speed.
*Boom! Boom!*
Two thunderous sounds rang out like firecrackers exploding. Shock and terror flashed across both bodyguards' faces. In that instant, they felt as though they'd been slammed by a high-speed train. The terrible force sent them flying backward, both arms twisted into grotesque angles—their arms had suffered comminuted fractures from that single exchange, and there was no chance of recovery.
*Whoosh!*
Chen Feng glanced at the two bodyguards, quietly astounded himself. His strength had already reached an appallingly frightful level. If, as before, his power had been on par with bodyguards like these, he might have been able to defeat them with his Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do, but it wouldn't have been easy. Now, however, his strength completely surpassed theirs—they weren't even in the same league.
The two bodyguards were utterly shaken. They nearly questioned whether what they'd just experienced was real. But the searing agony radiating from their arms told them plainly that this was no dream—it was absolutely real. Chen Feng's strength was terrifying, several times greater than their own.
They staggered to their feet, both with their right arms ruined. There was little hope of healing, but a man who takes money must dispose of its owner's troubles; even injured, they had to protect their employer. That was their duty as bodyguards.
Seeing them rise, a cold smirk curved Chen Feng's lips. He felt little sympathy or pity. His body shifted, and in a flash he was before one of the bodyguards. The man saw Chen Feng move, but his body couldn't keep up.
*Thump!*
Chen Feng's palm pressed lightly against the man's chest. Just a "light" press—outwardly gentle, yet in that instant it unleashed terrifying explosive force. *Bang!* The bodyguard flew backward, slamming hard into the wall. He immediately spat out a mouthful of blood and could no longer find the strength to get up.
The other bodyguard was completely stunned. Before he could recover, Chen Feng was already in front of him. Another palm, the same technique, and the man was blasted away on the spot.
*Tap-tap.*
Chen Feng's gaze landed on Liu Kaifeng. In that moment, Liu Kaifeng shuddered involuntarily. He felt as if he'd been plunged into an ice cavern; the cold stabbed at his nerves, and he shook from head to toe. In an instant, his crotch was soaked through.
This youth—only seventeen years old—was radiating a killing intent that made one's blood run cold. Liu Kaifeng had a powerful feeling that Chen Feng had killed before. More than once.
Over forty men of the Black Skull mercenary corps had died at Chen Feng's hands. Even though Chen Feng had injected Possian, it had still left a lingering influence on him, unnoticed.
"Y-you, don't come any closer!" Liu Kaifeng instinctively scrambled backward on his hands and knees, but he soon realized there was nowhere left to retreat.
Wang Zuo, however, stood up and said tremulously, "Kid, I-I'm warning you... do you know who Master Liu is? Do you know what happens when you offend him?"
*Smack!*
Chen Feng flicked his hand backward and caught Wang Zuo across the face, sending him reeling and stumbling to the ground with a *thud*.
Ignoring Wang Zuo, Chen Feng fixed his gaze on Liu Kaifeng and said unhurriedly, "Master Liu, pray tell—who exactly are you?"
"I-I—" Liu Kaifeng was sweating with terror, unable to get a single word out. Especially with Chen Feng's gaze on him; it felt like a sharp sword stabbing straight into his heart.
*Tap-tap.*
Chen Feng stepped forward again. That light step seemed to land directly on Liu Kaifeng's heart.
"Chen Feng, d-don't come any closer!" Liu Kaifeng curled in on himself instinctively, completely forgetting how overbearingly arrogant he'd been only moments ago. Now he was nothing but a pitiful, groveling worm.
"Kneel." Two syllables exploded from Chen Feng's mouth.
"K-kneel?" Liu Kaifeng froze in shock. He was about to speak when a whistling sound swept past his ear. In an instant, he felt something sharp and searing graze his cheek. He touched his mouth involuntarily, and his palm came away covered in blood.
"I said kneel. Did you not hear me?" Chen Feng was watching him, casually tossing a wine glass in his hand, saying leisurely, "Otherwise, I can't guarantee what I might do next."
"You want me to kneel?" Liu Kaifeng stared at Chen Feng, his face flushing bright red.
*Bang!*
His voice had barely faded when a gunshot cracked in his ear. In that instant, Liu Kaifeng felt a searing blast of heat sweep past his cheek, the whole side of his face burning hot. He looked up and saw a dark, gaping gun barrel aimed straight at his head.
"Don't shoot! I'll kneel! I'll kneel!" Staring into that black muzzle, Liu Kaifeng shrieked in terror. He had no doubt that Chen Feng would actually pull the trigger. Hell, if that last shot had been off by even a hair, his head would have burst open on the spot.
Fear—overwhelming, crushing fear—flooded his mind. The shred of courage his precious dignity had summoned moments ago vanished in smoke.
Screw dignity. Screw being the young master of the Liu Group. All of it was worthless. At this moment, before the reality of his own life, nothing else mattered. He scrambled frantically to his feet, then dropped straight to his knees in front of Chen Feng.
(My apologies: today's update arrives a little late. Feng Shao's gone back home, and family matters are a bit trivial and time-consuming. Please bear with me—I promise I won't skip an update!) (To be continued...)
